International Evangelical Lutheran Church was established as organization by bishop Evgeny Maidanyuk in May 2019 after his ordination to episcopacy and separation from the ELCAC.
The main reason of separation was differences in understanding of the Lutheran doctrine in ELCAC between pastor Evgeny and bishops of the ELCAC. The main thing – ELCAC keeping using The Book of Concord and turn themselves to be on the way of catholic church, with giving Holy Communion to people only in Body, by using vestments of Roman Catholics and many more.
After became a bishop at May 28, 2019, The right rev. Evgeny register the organization and public the bases of believe with opening doors to a clergy, other communities and peoples who wants to join IELC.
These days IELC is ready to open doors for new communities around the World, and welcomes everybody who are following the doctrine. Currently, IELC has it’s communities in the Philippins, Thailand, Japan and Indonesia.
The presiding bishop of the IELC is The Most Reverend Evgeny Maidanyuk.
