To join IELC you should be ready to confess the same Faith with us. First step, you should be fully agree with our Doctrine. Exam or colloquy will be scheduled.
Second step – you must be elected by community of people. There are must be at least 5 adults who will elect you as their pastor. Since they elected, you should make a request letter about joining the IELC with their signs about your election. Since you make first Mass where they lay hands on you with prayers about you as their pastor, you becoming a clergy. The request you should send to one of our bishops.
Once approved, you should provide your documents about your education, or take a course in our seminary. Once you are done with your education and received Diploma of Divinity, you can be ordained to a deacon.
After a time you will be ordained to a priest and can keep full service for your community.
If your community growing, or you have few communities, you can become a provost and manage your communities and other priests and deacons. You have a good possibilities to be a bishop in the future.
